She was predeceased by: her husband James McGovern; her parents, Aime and Medora Dionne (Leclair); her daughter Joan Johansen; her son-in-law Walter; her grandson Steven Johansen; and her siblings, Wilfred Dionne, Raymond Dionne, Leona Flynn, Dora Gagne and Malvina Champagne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Brzostecki (Peter M.) of West Warwick and Maureen McGovern of Providence.
