It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Elizabeth Capuano (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Giannini of Providence; her parents, John J. Capuano and Ann Capuano (Fitzpatrick); and her brother John D. Capuano. She is survived by: her sisters, Leah Iannuccilli, Mary Gatta and Donna Abrams; her brother-in-law Steven Abrams; and her nieces and nephews, Arianna Iannuccilli, Venita Maciel, Betty Iannuccilli, Nicholas Iannuccilli, Gian Carlo Iannuccilli and Chris Maciel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

“Leah, Mary Lou and Donna - Margaret and I were so sorry to learn of Nancy’s passing. Harkey, David and I loved being with you all and Nancy on our mother's trips home to RI. Later, while stationed in Newport, Margaret and I were able to visit with Nancy, Paul and the Boxers several times. Always a treat. We are so sorry that she’s gone. She was a wonderful person and absolute joy to be with. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Dick and Margaret Mayo Harpswell, Maine”

“Leah, Mary Lou, and Donna, Dick told me last night that Nancy had passed away. I am very sorry. My earliest and best memories involved all of you at your home on Volturno in North Providence. Your family was a welcoming and joyful contrast to life in the South. My visits after that were just as enjoyable. I remember fondly the holidays shared in your homes while I was practicing law and in graduate school. Thank you for that. Please accept my condolences. Nancy will be missed. David”
