We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James A. O'Loughlin of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, born in Newport, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alfred and Catherine O'Loughlin (Ronayne); his sons, Dieter and John; and his close friend Gordon Fish.

He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth O'Loughlin (Hollweg); his children, Catherine, Elisabeth, Barbara and James; and his sister Pauline Rucker. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to assist with funeral expenses.
