It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margherita Rose Thayer of Peace Dale, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Henry H. Thayer, Jr.; her parents, Giovanni Salerno and Francesca Salerno (Maiorana); her children, Frances A. Thayer of Peace Dale and Henry H. Thayer, III (Paula) of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Audrey J. Scott, Henry H. Thayer, IV and Heather L. Balbi; her great grandchildren, Grace, Kelsey and Ashley Scott; her cousin Joyce Shiels; and her siblings, Nicola and Charles Salerno. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
Thayer was a lifelong communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Wakefield and it is her wish that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to: St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield, Rl 02879.
