He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Lapham and Hazel J. Lapham (Chalk); his adoptive daughter Lisa Hendrick; and his sister Karen L. Quimper. He is survived by: his daughters, Marianne Mathieu (Ralph) of Warwick and Julie Santos (Paul) of Pawtucket; his stepsons, Guy Beaudette of Texas and Gary Beaudette of Rhode Island; his granddaughters, Victoria, Brittany, Danielle, Mackenzie, Emily and Ava; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Aviana, Brielle, Benson and Arya; and his sisters, Barbara A. O'Donnell of Pawtucket, Ann M. DeAngelis (Raymond) of Seekonk, MA and Linda L. Senn (Karl) of Touisset. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
