She was predeceased by: her spouse Deodato C. Rodrigues; her parents, Antonio Pontes and Emilia Pontes (Farias); and her siblings, Carlos Pontes, Irondina Martins, Alvira Caetano and Rego Pontes.
She is survived by: her children, Viriato Rodrigues (Zelia) of Pawtucket, Alberto Rodrigues (Gloria) of Cranston, Filomena Sharples (Christopher) of Pawtucket, Deodato Rodrigues (Susan) of Swansea and Maria Sharples (Kevin) of Powatan, Virginia. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa Church (358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
