Though Rosa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Amaral and Mary Frances Amaral (Pacheco); and her sister Irene Borges. She is survived by: her husband Steve; and her daughter Candace Perreira-Jorge.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rebello Funeral Home (901 Broadway, East Providence, RI 02914). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Loreto Church (346 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914).
