He was predeceased by: his parents, August Benabio and Margaret Benabio (McGinn); his son Richard Benabio Jr.; his stepmother Olive Benabio; and his sister Judith Benabio.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Benabio (Peltier); his daughter Tracie Benabio-Pelland; his brother Robert Benabio (Veronica); and his grandchildren, Jerry Pelland Jr., Isabella Pelland and Nicholas Benabio.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home (220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI 02860). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
