He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent H. Cavanaugh and Medora Cavanaugh (Charland); and his brother James V. Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his sons, Sean P. Cavanaugh of Pawtucket and Matthew J. Cavanaugh of Colorado; his sisters, Ruth Crowley (James) of Albion, Helen Blount (Michael) of Alabama and Louise Cavanaugh of Pawtucket; and his pet Hogan.
