She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur J. Messier, Jr.; and her parents, Albert LaFountaine and Irene LaFountaine (McKeon). She is survived by: her son Mark A. Messier (Alicia) of Pawtucket; her grandsons, Matthew of Pawtucket and Damien Messier of Pawtucket; and her siblings, Kenneth LaFountaine of Pawtucket and Geraldine McVay of Pawtucket. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
