She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur J. Messier, Jr.; and her parents, Albert LaFountaine and Irene LaFountaine (McKeon). She is survived by: her son Mark A. Messier (Alicia) of Pawtucket; her grandsons, Matthew of Pawtucket and Damien Messier of Pawtucket; and her siblings, Kenneth LaFountaine of Pawtucket and Geraldine McVay of Pawtucket. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Teresa Church (358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
