Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mercedes Palacio Botero and Jose Manuel Palacio; and her son John Escobar. She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Escobar of Cumberland, Beatrice Escobar of South Carolina, Maria Victoria Escobar of South Carolina and Martha Escobar of South Carolina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and she leaves behind 12 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (118 Taunton Ave, East Providence, RI 02914).
