We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Maria Amelia (Raposo) Medeiros of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband José Norberto Medeiros; her parents, Manuel Raposo and Maria C. Raposo (Tavares); her son José Antero Medeiros; her brothers, Albert E. Raposo, Manuel Raposo and José A. Raposo; and her grandson Rodney Oliveira.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Carvalho (Albano), Natalia Furna (Joe), Elizabeth Correia (Nevio), Norberto Medeiros (Natalia) and Joseph A. Medeiros (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Fabio, Neal, Derek, Nicole, Niverio, Monica and Garrett; her great grandchildren, Catarina, Lucas, Mara, Jackson, Nicholas, Brooklyn and Winston; and her sister-in-law Odilia Raposo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
