It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo A. Bessette Jr. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Bessette (Larson); his parents, Leo Bessette and Edith Bessette (Lawson); his grandson Michael O'Brien; and his sister Evelyn Kaveny.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa O'Brien (Charles), Lori Ruggiero (Andrew), Leslie Charbonneau (John), Leo Bessette, Lanni Bessette-Carello (Matthew) and Linda Twardowski (Michael); and his brother Robert Bessette. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank (https://rifoodbank.org), 200 Niantic Ave., Providence RI 02907, in memory of Leo, would be greatly appreciated.
