As we bid Kathy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carolina Ramos and Estevao Ramos; her grandparents, Idilia, Jose Costa, Cipriano Estevao and María Isabel Ramos; her husband Vladimir Fernandes; and her godparents, John Costa Sr. and Ilda Almeida. She was also cherished by 3 sons, 3 step sons, 1 step daughter, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and 2 brothers.
