He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Leightao Lobo and Joao Vieira Lima; and his brother Manuel J. Lima. He is survived by: his significant other Fatima Lima (Palavra); his children, Tony C. Lima of Rhode Island, Claudine A Lima of Rhode Island, Sonia Lima Teixeira (Joaozinho) of Rhode Island, Carlos A. Lima (Radia) of Marseille, Anne Marie Lima of Paris, France, Maria Rocha of Connecticut, Karina Lima of Dakar and Senegal; and his brother Humberto E. Lima. He is also survived by two grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
