He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Fochler and Blanche Fochler (Hipple); and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Meyer (Robert). He is survived by: his children, James Fochler, Jr. (Patricia Shea) of Cranston, Kevin M. Fochler (MaryEllen) of Greenville, Lori Santarpio (Edward) of Attleboro and Melissa Harrington (David) of Sterling, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Catherine of Ashley, EJ, Nicole, Rosemary, Connor, Kevin and Eric; and also, Paul Arrighie, Norbert Schecher (Ana), Briana, David, Vanessa, Cristina and Luke Santarpio.
