He was predeceased by: his parent Wilfred Dion; and his siblings, Elizabeth Royer, Theresa Stec, Barbara Zulker, Sonny Dion, Frank Dion, Raymond Dion and Edward Dion.
He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Dion (Quinn); his wife Joanne; his sons, Stephen J. Dion of Alexander and Timothy J. Dion (Dawn) of Cumberland; his sister Irene Reid of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Stephen Jacob Dion, Myshianda Cherie Dion, Jaiden Alexander Stefan Dion and Elizabeth Jean Dion. He is also survived by many friends and a wonderful group of nieces and nephews.
