He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Pereira and Conceicao Pereira (Silva); and his siblings, Jose Francisco Pereira and Legia Melo. He is survived by: his spouse Dorvalina Pereira (Botelho); his daughter Susana Pereira of Pawtucket; and his granddaughter Olivia Pereira.
