He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hartzell and Mary Hartzell (Pierce). He is survived by: his daughter Heidi Hartzell; his siblings, Robert Hartzell (Sue) of Cambria, CA, Nick Hartzell (Ali) of Markleeville, CA and Margaret Hartzell of Omak; and his former wife Earline Hartzell (Hallal) of Pawtucket. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
