She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alves and Rachel Alves (Ferreira); and her son Craig Alves Desmarais. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony J. Desmarais of Harrisville and Brian Desmarais of Cumberland; and her brothers, Daniel Alves of Cumberland and John Alves III of Pawtucket.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (153 Curran Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
