She was predeceased by: her spouse Antero Medeiros; her parents, Manuel Capela and Maria Vieira (Vidal); and her siblings, Manny Vieira and Esmeralda Morais.
She is survived by: her children, Antero "Manny" Medeiros (Karen) of Muse, FL, Peter Medeiros of Pawtucket, John Medeiros (Gail) of North Providence, Phoebe Medeiros of Pawtucket, David Medeiros of Pawtucket and Michael Medeiros (Marcia) of Pawtucket; and her siblings, Carlos Vieira of Pascoag, Jose Vidal of Bermuda and Alice Sousa of Sao Miguel. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
