Eugene A. Welsh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene A. Welsh of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Welsh and Helen M. Welsh (Roche); and his sister Regina Sammon. He is survived by: his wife Margaret M. Welsh (Neenan); his children, Eugene J. Welsh (Shannon) of Pennsylvania, Mary K. McBurney (Joseph) of Pawtucket and Ann B. Welsh (Jason Almcrantz) of Oregon; his granddaughters, Ann and Brigid; and his siblings, Mary Minor (Richard) of Virginia and Vincent Welsh (Marion) of South Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raymond Church (1240 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Saint Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
