He was predeceased by: his wife Monique R. Metivier (Boulanger); his parents, Emile Metivier and Aurore Metivier (Forest); and his siblings, Carmen, Therese, Fernande, Albert, Andre, Raymond and Clement.
He is survived by: his children, Jocelyne Metivier (Eugene Wante) of North Kingstown, Harold Metivier (Diane) of North Providence, Ronald Metivier (Sharon) of North Attleboro and Michael Metivier of Pawtucket; and his sisters, Murielle Paquet of Canada and Ginette Metivier of Canada. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
