She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Smith Sr. and Sarah N. Smith (Howard); her husband James R. Gustos of Providence; and her siblings, Gloria Jackson, Mary Connetta, Annette Byrd, Pamela Augustus, Serbrena Malko and Michael Smith.
She is survived by: her pet Sammi; her daughters, Stacy L. Smith of Riverside and Sarah N. Smith Zabala (Jesus) of Providence; her grandchildren, Jordan Young of Riverside and Miranda Zabala of Providence; her great grandchild Eliana XIquin Romero; and her siblings, William H. Smith Jr. of Oklahoma, Jimmy, Robert Smith of Providence, Diane Soares of Warwick and Yolanda Smith of Providence. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bell Funeral Home (571 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907).
