Cecilia M. Couto Obituary

We bid farewell to Cecilia M. Couto of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Cecilia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Adriano M. Couto; her parents, Gil Pimentel and Honorina Pimentel (Figueiro); and her brothers, Manuel Pimentel, Gil Pereira and Jose Pimentel.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Auclair of Pawtucket and Lucy Freedman (Adam) of Barrington; her granddaughters, Tessa Snowden, Sophie and Esme Freedman; her sisters, Ines Serodio and Urselina Leite; and her pet Ziggy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa Church (358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
