We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 71, Cairn I. Smith of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Cairn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cairn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gardner, Sr. Smith and Isobel Smith (Carruth); and also Kyle G. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Charles S. Jankowski; her brother Mark Smith (Beverly O'Connor); her niece Aimee O'Connor of Pawtucket; her brother Gardner A. Smith, Jr. of Lincoln; and her niece Cailee Smith (Michael Secinaro) of Seattle, WA.
