He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Coit and Sylvia Coit (Ouellette). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Allard; his son Scott Coit Jr. of Connecticut; his brother Ernest Coit III (Nancy) of Pawtucket; his niece Corinne Latraverse; and his nephew Ernest F. Coit IV.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
