It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger Y. Sweeney Jr. of Pascoag, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 67, on October 5, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Roger Sweeney, Sr.; and his siblings, Joanne Bouchard, Stephen and Bryan Sweeney. He is survived by: his children, Roger Sweeney, III (Barbie), Mark Sweeney (Gina), Brandon Sweeney (Jessica) and Lyndsey Larson (Andrew); his grandchildren, Cody, Devon, Alyssa, Skyla, Ryder and Ava; and his siblings, Norma Davies, Judy Berard, Deborah Spellman, Michael, David, James Sweeney, Karen Bertone, Darlene Donohue and Renee Falcioni. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“We shared a lot of laughs, great conversation and a drink or two spanning what seems like an eternity. Beginning at the former VFW Post in Forestdale to the American Legion Post in Woonsocket, Roger was always seen in his "spot" when we walked in. He was proud of his long career and his union. Nothing will ever surpass the pride and the abundance of love he had for his children and grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time and the difficult days yet to come.”
