He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Fortin and Theresa Fortin (Corbeil); his daughter Carol F.; his wife Helen; and his sisters, Aldea Brochu, Amanda Ducharme and Eva Brissette.
He is survived by: his children, Mary White (Sam) of North Kingstown, Jeff (Rrea) of Smithfield and Ann of Pascoag. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
