He is survived by: his sons, Walter H. Sawyer III (Judith) of Mount Vernon, ME, Phillip A. Sawyer Sr. (Renay) of North Smithfield and Russell H. Sawyer (Amy) of Pittsburg, PA; his brothers, Thomas Sawyer and Robert Sawyer of Warwick; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Phillip Sawyer, Joseph and John Sawyer.
