He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Beatrice (Jeffery); and his siblings, Ernest, George, David and Brenda.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Keene (Follett); and his children, Jeffrey, Richard, Douglas, Daniel, Robin, Tracy, Jody and Jessie. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
