She was predeceased by: her husband L. Andre Chartier; her parents, James L. Kane, Sr. and Marguerite Kane (Lannan); and her sister Alice Callanan. She is survived by: her children, James A. Chartier (Nancie) of Wickford, Mary Ellen Barnatt (Thomas) of Milford, MA, John K. Chartier of Vienna, ME and Matthew K. Chartier of North Smithfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
