He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Hoyle and Frances Hoyle (Sargent); his wife Wendy; his sons, Stephen C Hoyle III, Joshua D Hoyle (Jessica) and Matthew T Hoyle (Haiying); his grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb, Sydney, Lily, Bruce and Jacob; his great grandchild Giovanna; and his siblings, Patricia Zimmerman, Adria Sartrys and Albert Hoyle.

“Everyone called him Butch and he was a dear close friend back in the 1960's and beyond. He was a wonderful guy and a very kind best friend who I saw later in life before and after he married Wendy and I saw him at a few of our other friends weddings. I moved out of State so we lost touch and one of his other best friends called me today to let me know that he passed away. May he rest in peace. Marilyn Koback”
