He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Francoeur and Antoinette Francoeur (Turcotte); his brother Robert Francoeur; and his grandson Sam Francoeur. He is survived by: his wife Claire M. Francoeur (Bergeron); his children, Paul Francoeur (Kristin) of Leicester, VT and Lynne Toomey (James) of Greene, RI.; his grandchildren, Amie, Ryan, Eric, Sean and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Sora, Rowan and Shay.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

“So sorry to hear of Uncle Ron's passing. He has always had and will always have a very fond place in my heart. And while we will miss him, just think about what he's experiencing right now! Like the Bible says: "We are...well pleased to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." I'm already looking forward to seeing him again 'up there'....but not just yet! In the meantime, I am attaching a favorite picture of a happy day in Vermont. Love you all - Michael & Jordan”
