Dowding of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Frances B. Dowding (Goodwin); his parents, Charles Dowding and Vera Dowding (Lake); and his sister Elaine Steere. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Dowding of North Smithfield, Debra Parent (Richard) of North Smithfield, Richard Dowding (Diane) of North Smithfield and Barbara Mowry (Wayne) of Bellingham; his grandchildren, Pamela Artruc (George Sparrow) and Jeremy Dowding (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Brooke, Kayden Artruc, Ella and Brady Dowding; and his sister Barbara Dunphy of Port St.
