She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Cannistra, MD of Thundermist's Founding Medical Director; her parents, Antonio Cincotta and Mary Cincotta (Palamara); and her brothers, Felix E. Cincotta and Joseph A Cincotta.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen A. Cannistra, MD of Needham, MA, Linda M. Cannistra (Michael G. Lennahan) of Smithfield, RI and Anthony J. Cannistra, MD (Lauralyn B. Cannistra, MD) of Cumberland, RI.; and her grandchildren, Anthony F. Cannistra and Stephanie M. Cannistra.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel (643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Home (643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Church (80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917).
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to honor Mary's life by encouraging donations to Thundermist Health Center (thundermisthealth.org/donate/).
