She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Cannistra, MD of Thundermist's Founding Medical Director; her parents, Antonio Cincotta and Mary Cincotta (Palamara); and her brothers, Felix E. Cincotta and Joseph A Cincotta.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen A. Cannistra, MD of Needham, MA, Linda M. Cannistra (Michael G. Lennahan) of Smithfield, RI and Anthony J. Cannistra, MD (Lauralyn B. Cannistra, MD) of Cumberland, RI.; and her grandchildren, Anthony F. Cannistra and Stephanie M. Cannistra.
