She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Brousseau and Lillian Brousseau (Valois); her husband John "Jack" McDermott; and her brother Robert Brousseau. She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Magnan (Stephen), Laurie Ganem (Michael), Donna Jean (Dennis LaRose) and Bonnie Brodeur (Douglas Brodeur); her grandchildren, Devin Jean, Aubrey Calcagni, Stevie Jean Magnan, Kenzie Magnan and Braydon Simpson; and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Riley Jean Calcagni.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jeanne to St, Jude Children's Research Hospital.
