Janet C. Horn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Janet C. Horn of North Smithfield, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Richards and Leona Richards (Racine); her daughter Dr. Kathleen Horn Santo; and her siblings, Robert Richards (Patricia) of Killingly, CT and Marie Messier.

She is survived by: her husband Donald P. Horn; her children, Patricia Horn Ferron (Richard) of Smithfield, Elizabeth "Betty" Saccocia (Steven) of Norton, MA and James Horn (Janice) of North Smithfield; her son-in-law Dr. John Santo of Newburyport, MA; and her grandchildren, Michael Ferron (Natania), Steven, Timothy Ferron, Joseph Santo, Ian, Allison Horn, Gwen and Olivia Saccocia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery (63 Church St, Woonsocket, RI 02876). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the same location.
