He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Remedes; and his parents, Joseph Remedes and Elidia Remedes (Procell). He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Remedes (Human); his children, Georgia Remedes-Ross of Amsterdam, NY and Martin Remedes (Debbie) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Chrissy McIntyre (Michael), Julie Ross (Jeff), Shelby Ross, Nate Remedes (Jill), Tyler Remedes (Nicole) and Summer Remedes; his great grandchildren, Kali, Isaac, Laila, Amya, Jeffery and Dylan; his pets, Brody, Frank and Smalls; and his siblings, Chester Remedes and Lilly Coleman. He is also survived by his family and friends.
