Claire C. Abbate Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2023, Claire C. Abbate of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco A. Abbate; her parents, George Fleurant and Bertha Fleurant (Cote); and her sisters, Theresa Cavedon and Georgette Denning.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Abbate (Gabrielle) of Burrillville, Rocco V. Abbate (Maureen) of South Kingstown and Judith Abbate (late Denis M. Abbate) of North Smithfield; and her grandchildren, Jenna, Tony, Christopher, Ashley, Andrew, Elizabeth, Kaitlin and Kyle. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Museum of Work and Culture are appreciated.
