DeStefano of North Scituate, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. George DeStefano and Janet L. DeStefano (Harrower); his wife Claudette DeStefano (Messier); and his brother William G. DeStefano. He is survived by: his children, Richard DeStefano Jr. (Amanda) of Chepachet, RI, Steven DeStefano (Cherylanne) of Cranston, RI and Tricia DeStefano (Rob Raymond) of Marble, NC; his brother George O. DeStefano of Rehoboth, MA; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Madison and Ryder.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Bay Parish (645 Main St, Warren, RI 02885). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
