He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Costa and Maria Augusta Costa (Teixeira); and his brother Lionel Costa. He is survived by: his children, Mikayla McGivergan and Calvin Costa; and his siblings, Ilda Agrela and Alfredo Costa. He is also survived by one grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
