She was predeceased by: her spouse Gaetano "Don" Proto; her parents, Michael Luisi and Angelina Luisi (D'Agostino); and her sibling Frank Luisi. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Sweet (Donald) and Michelle Proto Linarello (Salvatore); her sisters, Etta Scappaticci and Anna Vargas; her grandchildren, Donald Derek, Vanessa Proto, Brianna Sweet and Samantha Nolte; and her siblings, Mary Spaziano and Savina Luisi.
