It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Edward McDaniel of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Millington, Tennessee, who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Edward McDaniel and Linda McDaniel (DiIorio) of North Providence, RI.; his brother Nicholas; his sister-in-law Hongwei; and his niece Jill Lin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Steven to the Plainville Chess Club, which is organizing a tournament in his honor.
