He was predeceased by: his parents, Gino Parente and Catherine Parente (Maguire); his sister Mary Lena Burgess; and his sister-in-law Angela Antonelli. He is survived by: his wife Elaine A. Parente (Vacca); his sister Constance Daniels; his parents-in-law, Luigi Vacca, Dorothy Dowling, Anthony Vacca, Sandra Vacca and Robert Burgess; and his brother-in-law Domenic Vacca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
