She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Garelick; her son Max J. Garelick; her parents, Max Sherman and Sara Sherman (Fineberg); and her brother Farms.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank M. Garelick and Jon S. Garelick. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
Sophie Irene (Sherman) Garelick died June 15 at Steere House nursing facility in Providence, R. I., due to COVID-19, at the age of 104.
