As Raymond departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Raymond. Though Raymond may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Maxwell Meaney; and his niece Katherine B. Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sullivan; his children, Erin Sullivan of North Providence and William F. Sullivan (Melissa Bouvier) of Cumberland; and his siblings, Michael Sullivan (Joan) of Pawtucket, Thomas Wroe Jr. of Naples, FL and Lynda A. Meaney of North Providence. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Church North Providence (1080 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02904).
