He is survived by: his wife Rose V. Ovoian (Markarian); his children, Marjorie L. Sluter (David) of Rumford, RI and Robert S. Ovoian (Valerie M. Welch) of North Attleboro, MA; his grandchildren, Steven D. Sluter (Pamela) of Smithfield, Ethan P. Sluter (Tabitha) of Providence, Matthew A. Sluter (Kimberly) of Seekonk, Daniel M. Ovoian (Stephanie) of Providence and Katherine W. Ovoian of North Attleboro; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Bethany, Aram, Luke, Gabriella, Gloria, Angelo, Jack and Charlie; and his niece Margie Simonian of Michigan.
