He is survived by: his spouse Berthalene Monteiro (Russ); his sons, Peter F. Monteiro Jr. (Jazmin) and Daniel G. Monteiro (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Peter S. Monteiro III, Isaiah D. Monteiro, Madison Monteiro and Jaya Monteiro; and his siblings, Pauline Fortes, Gregory Monteiro, Matilda Fortes and Mary Monteiro.
