With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman D. Tierney Jr. of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruth Tierney (Beaulieu) and Norman D. Tierney Sr.; and his sister Betsy Woltjen. He is survived by : his wife Jean; his daughters, Megan Field (William) and Shannon Tierney; his stepchildren, Kimberly Hooper, Robyn Long-Navas and David Long; and his siblings, Marcia Caplette, Susan Gorrie and William Woltjen. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren and, many nieces & nephews.
